I'm presently trying to compile the Numerical Recipes in Fortran90. OK,
I renamed them from *.F to *.F90 on VMS, which is easier than doing it
the other way around on UNIX, but was a bit annoyed that the source
contains TABs---EDT in a .COM replaced them---(and that some source code
is lower case, but that is a personal peeve). What I'm more concerned
with is the following warning:
INTEGER, PARAMETER :: DPC = KIND((1.0D0,1.0D0))
^
%F90-W-WARNING, Fortran 90 does not allow the DOUBLE COMPLEX data type.
at line number 8 in file DISK$USER:[HELBIG.PROGRAMME.LIBRARY.MATH.NUMRE
C90.RECIPES_F-90.RECIPES]NRTYPE.F90;8
Is the code non-standard or is the compiler giving a warning when it
shouldn't?
While I'm at it, can anyone explain the following related VMS message?
%SYSTEM-W-UNWIND, unwind currently in progress
which occurs when the compiler can't find a .F90$MOD file (because it
hasn't been compiled yet).
