This article discusses the SPECint and SPECfp suites, comparing Intel and
Alpha and also NT vs. UNIX. Strictly speaking, the SPECfp programs are
Fortran 77, but we used our Fortran 90 compiler (DIGITAL Visual Fortran on
NT) in our testing.
