We have already enroled most of our "new students" and a fair proportion
have no concrete response from their LEAs, although many were able to
provide a letter saying the LEA were looking into it, like others many had
not applied until late on, were not applying at all, or didn't know what we
were talking about (because their parents had dealt with it). We had
provided a checklist so that we can start to assess who had applied and who
would class as new or existing, and also handed out a letter for those who
had not applied, reminding them to do so, and that they would be charged the
full fee if we did not receive an assessment in the next few weeks.
