Dear John,
According to M. Gibson, *Saints of Patronage and Invocation* (Bristol,
1982), Saints Barbara and Eloy are prayed to, and St Kieran especially for
Cornish tin miners; and for coal miners specifically, there is St Leonard
of Noblac. Hope this helps!
