Subject: k'zoo sessions (fwd)
PLEASE CROSS-POST
As many of you know, we have had an unprecedented avalanche of
proposals for General Sessions. Some 300 medievalists sent us proposals
for papers on September 15, which means about 100 sessions [!]. While we
cannot take them all, we are doing our best to be accommodating. On
balance I need to fill some 80 slots for presiders, more or less, and I
have been working this week to reduce these openings. I have a fair number
of openings in the "grab-bag" category of "Other Literature," and in
ME/Chaucer/Drama, where the pressure had been remarkably strong.
With this I hope to catch up with all who have resonded to the
ARTHURNET and related postings.
I first offer slots in "Other Literature" and then, below the
"Forwarded Message" line, ME, more or less, PLUS Drama:
1. Medieval Spanish Linguistics: two papers
2. Medieval Spanish Lit: four papers
3. Norse Connections: two papers
4. Celtic Connections: two papers
5. Medievalism: four papers on Pasolini, HAwthorne, Tolkien,
Victorian Art
6. Latin Connections: four papers
If you want more info on these, or below, I will FAX to those who
want. I seem to be getting carpal tunnel problems, or maybe just plain
fatigue.
