Dear medieval-religionists,
Just in case anyone should have to contact me via e-mail urgently over the coming
weekend, please telephone or fax me instead. This is due to the following notice,
as posted by the Leicester computing service:
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
[Most Leicester] systems will be unavailable from 17:30 on Friday the 14th of
November until approximately 09:00 on Monday the 17th of November. This down-time
is required to correct a serious problem with the air-conditioning system within
the Computer Centre.

This does *NOT* in any way affect the traffic of our list; I only mention it in
case someone absolutely needs to contact me.
It's always best, when writing to the list owners, to use the list owners'
address, and not their personal addresses, precisely in case of events like this
one. By writing to the list owners' address, if your message doesn't make it to
(for example) me, it will make it to (for example) Carolyn. (That is, if the
air-conditioning system within the Bristol Computer Centre doesn't need repairing
at precisely the same moment. :-> )
What's the list owners' address, I hear you say? Why, it is:
