Dear Helen,
the place to start, whenever dealing with the question of patron saints,
is the last volume of *Bibliotheca Sanctorum*, which gives an extensive
list (pp. 293-382). Under 'Parigi' (the working language of the
*Bibliotheca* is Italian), one finds listed Genevieve and King Louis.
There is a book that is indispensable for the study of cults of patron
saints: Alba Maria Orselli, *L'idea e il culto del santo patrono
cittadino nella letterature latina cristiana* (Studi e ricerche, n.s.
12), Bologna, 1965.
I strongly suspect that information relevant to your interests can be
gleaned from the works of Nicole Beriou. Also, you might join the
Hagiography Society, and check the invaluable list it publishes annually
regarding its members' research interests.
Best wishes, George
