Dom Anselm,
the original version is out in French, published by Cerf. It will come
out eventually in English (via Clarke, which I'm pretty sure is based in
Edinburgh), and Citta' Nuova will do an Italian version. The book has
been some time in the making -- as articles were solicited at least as
far back as 1992. But I'm sure it's well worth the wait, and certain
that it should be added to the mini-list of library 'must haves' for
medieval studies.
George
PS: Interesting marketing change: the original working title had the
adjective 'chretien' following 'age'.
