De ricci is very dated, and I find Bond dated too - aside from errors in
description of our university's collections. (Bond describes as missing
or untraced two MSS securely in place on our shelves.) Some libraries
have more recent catalogues of their medieval MSS (UCLA, Huntington,
Claremont Colleges, Penn, Yale, Newberry.) There also is an effort under
way to do an electronic inventory of MSS in North America to replace
these printed sources. (As an experiment, I have posted a summary of our
university's holdings on the Special Collections Webpage for Eisenhower
Library - Milton's Web.)
