I don't know anything about the other versions, but I believe that the
American Standard Version was produced in the late 19th century as a revision
of the King James. The RSV, first produced in the 1940's/50's, was a
revision of this.
It sounds like the compiler of the Bible Windows program was including a number
of older versions now in the public domain, i.e., free, w/o copyrights, as
opposed to newer versions like the NRSV or the NIV that would have cost a
fortune to include in a software program, but which are much better known
both to the masses and to scholars.
As for the catholic version of the RSV, I thought that was just the good old
RSV with the Deutero-canonical books added in, in the appropriate
places--i.e., a translation that used primarily the Hebrew with reference to
the LXX. I think there must certainly be a modern edition of the LXX; mine
is a reprint of the old version with Greek text and English translation.
