No relation between the two. 'Luca' was tha ancient name of the town also in
Roman times, before the advent of Christ. On the other hand, the so-called
'Volto Santo' in Lucca is rather related to the cult of Nicodemus, who in an
ancient tradition of the Christian East referred by the Iconodulic Acts of
the Council of Nicaea (787) was remembered as the author of an image of Christ.
