And vice-versa. However, that only works if both the structuralists and
minimalists agree on something akin to the Canberra Qualifiers Rule,
i.e. add all the qualifiers you want as long as you are refining, *not*
extending, the semantics of the element. If you need to extend the
semantics, fine -- just take it outside the core. Without this sort of
understanding, we are left with muddle. There's no benefit to saying we
are adhering to a common semantic core if in fact we are not.
