Dear Listmembers,
The wife of one of my colleagues wishes to buy a Vulgate for her father but
isn't sure where to find one. Which publishers worldwide publish the Vulgate?
My own copy was put out by an outfit called La Editorial Catolica in Madrid,
but since I bought it in the 1970s I'm not sure if they are still printing
Vulgates.
Any hints would be gratefully received. NB My colleague's wife's father is 84
so he probably can't cope with very small type.

Hi
The copy I use which was bought no more than three months ago carries
the title:
Biblia Sacra Iuxta Vulgatem Clementium
and is published by
Biblioteca De Autores Cristianos (1994).
It is always available from Carmel, a small Catholic bookshop near
the University here in Leeds and retails at, off the top of my head,
£32. They do take credit cards and I'm sure they would post a copy to
you.
Unfortunately though, the print is rather small so it may not be
suitable for your purposes.
