I got my Vulgate a number of years ago at the SPCK store in London, in the
used shop in the rear, a Fillion editionthe imprimatur is 1887, though it
seems newer than that. I presume the text is the Clementine. I use it all the
time, though for critical points, textual variants, etc., I go to the library
and consult Fischer/Weber.
My point is that Vulgates can also be found in good used bookstores, as well
as in good new bookstores; don't neglect either source.
