Well, yes, I'd like to write something about the blood libel. Also about
medieval Christian writers who did <not> run with the crowd and who may be
opposing abuse of Jews in one way or another. At a recent conference on
Christianity and literature, I read a paper titled, "Good and Bad Jews in
Christian Literature" which more or less deals with the subject.
But I think, Stephen Allen, that the drift may be going in the opposite
direction. It was listed as a misconception that medieval Jews lived in
ghettos. I asked where they <did> live, and no answer has come back.
