I hope someone might be able to furnish me with some information
regarding the education of oblates between 900-1200. I have a student
who is interested in researching the education and care of oblates in
the Benedictine tradition. I have been able to direct her to important
secondary and primary sources regarding how oblates become part of the
monastic community, but have had a difficult time finding sources
describing their education and growth into adulthood within the
community. Any information would be most helpful. Primary sources
discussing this topic would be the most useful for the project. Thanks
very much in advance.
