Dear Sam,
This is the list of St.George wall paintings in Denmark. You should also
check Knud Banning's "A Catalogue of Wall-Pintings in the Churches of
Medieval Denmark 1100-1600." published by Akademisk Forlag in Copenhagen. He
lists 15 more wall paintings in what is now southern Sweden. You might do
well to check hhhp://kalk.historie.ku.dk. Axel Bolvig has a large number of
wall paintings at this site.
There are also 18 sculptures, largely Gothic in style, in wood, listed in
"Danmarks kirker" to date. I can provide you with that list if you want.
Good hunting, Jim
The list gives the location, the date, the workshop, if known, my slide
number, the subject, and the location in the church.
