Does anyone know of anything written on Franciscan education outside the universities in
the later Middle Ages (14th-15th centuries)? I've not found anything except for the
chapter in Little's *Studies in English Franciscan History*, which is nearing a century
old now, and a few articles in obscure German Festschrifts. Is there anything like
Leonard Boyle's article on the Dominican *fratres commones* for the Franciscans? I'm
most interested in Germany/central Europe, but I'd be grateful for any leads at all.
Thanks,
Eric Reiter
