Dear Alberto and fellow members,
While answering a part of Alberto's query, I thought I would take the
opportunity to introduce myself since I am rather new to the list. I am
doing a PhD on the Arlesian hagiography in the Late Antiquity and Early
Middle Ages (mostly C5-C7, but with reworkings up to C10) in Cambridge. I
am interested in the making of Christian discourse, esp. the transition
from classical to Christian praise. My other interests include
homiletics, urban history and archaeology of Gaul and Italy.
I cannot tell so much about the VRem. Obviously I will very much like to
hear from people doing similar things. My bibliography is centered on the
VC, since a survey on Caesarius as whole would be much longer (as I learnt
at my costs last year). If someone spots hideous omission, please let me
know.
