I think you could ask for informations at the Bibliotheque
municipale of Colmar,
Place des Martyrs de la Resistance, F68000 Colmar.
Frequently, those libraries have a special name (the "Mejanes" in Aix en
Provence, the "Inguimbertine" in Carpentras) , which is not kept in the
modern uses. Maybe too, the found of ancient associations can be stocked in
municipal libraries.
I recommend the Andree Chauleur's book "Bibliotheques et archives,
comment se documenter" (Institut national de la recherche pedagogique, ISBN
2-7178-0322-x) for french libraries. But the I.R.H.T. (Institut de recherche
et d'histoire des textes), 40, Avenue d'Iena, 75116 Paris knows almost
everything on french medieval manuscripts, ands they are very obliging.
