Dr. Friedman,

You're right, I move that we postpone the conference for 243, short time
to wait in order appease all involved.
this to:
>We are approaching the "millennium" only on the Christian calendar. >[anno domini, the year of YOUR Lord] Since you seem to object to my >use of the word "facile," I will not characterize the assumption that >the approach of a year divisible by 1000 in the Christian calendar >somehow has universal significance.
I suppose you date all your check '57 then. I am also glad to know that
only Christian computers need fear the January 1 that is two years away.
I'll go and buy a Hindu PC straight away.
Like it or not more than a few Jews are caught up with millenial
maddness right along with all the stupid Goyim, my own aunt for one. As
the Christian dating is now used by more than just the Christians or the
West, this Christian Millenium will be a very interesting phenomenon,
worldwide.
And also this:
>I will be happy to respond to comments that speak to the issues.
This does speak to the issues as Jew, Christian, and Muslim (as well as
Hindu, Shinto, and Atheist) will all be caught up in whatever happens.
It'll be fun to watch.
