Illich has readers here at Trent University (Ontario) as well. You're
absolutely right in describing this text as provocative - of thought,
that is. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Has anyone had a chance to look at Patrick Geary's _Phantoms of
Remembrance: Memory and Oblivion at the End of the First Millenium_. I
believe it's on topic but I haven't had a chance to give it a read yet.
