As someone who has spent a great deal of time lately looking up Augustine
references on both the CETEDOC and PL databases, I would strongly second the
opinion that the CETEDOC CD-ROM is much easier, much quicker, and much more
pleasant to use. Unfortunately, it is also true that the PL set has much
more in the way of texts (it does, after all, contain five CDs to CETEDOC's
one), especially texts by Pseudo-Augustine(s). But if you are certain that
the quote you are trying to place is from Real-Augustine, then CETEDOC is
the place to go.
