Dear Thomas Ault,
Muratori's RIS comes in two versions, editions of the original folio
volumes (each with, as I recall, at least a table of contents and perhaps
indices) and RIS2, as it is known, the modern version which began
publication either in the very late 19thc or in the very early 20th. Most
good libraries will provide the contents of each volume in the catalogue
(though maybe not on-line); and most volumes (rather than fasicules)
probably have indices.
There are others on the list who do medieval drama. I've touched on the
relationship between the disciplinati of 1260 and the confraternities
producing plays in medieval Umbria.
Giotto: very pleased to learn of the connection between his art and the
drama which I (a non-art historian!) always suspected. Would you provide us
with a reference? I'd like to be able to cite a source.
You come to our list bearing gifts; thank you.
