R.J. Stansbury--
Urban Tigner Holmes, Jr.'s _Daily Living in the Twelfth Century_
(Madison: Univ. of Wisconsin Press, 1952) has some chapters that might
interest your students. It's a somewhat peculiar book, to be sure, but it
highlights some of the routine problems and characteristics of medieval life
that often grab the attention of undergraduates. You might also want to
take a look at the bibliography at the end of Larry Sullivan's article on
Paris in the _Dictionary of the Middle Ages_ 9:401-407 for further ideas.
