I think there is a clear consensus emerging, mirabile dictu, that two fields
are needed:
|Abstract (contains prose summary, or description)
| Blort (contains words indicative of the subject matter)
Opinion is divided as to whether "Blort" should be called Keyword or
Subject and as to whether its contents should be taken from a controlled
set.
My vote is that it should be called Keyword, and that the attribute SCHEME
should indicate whether the terms are from a controlled set or not. Using the
SGML syntax proposed at Warwick:
<keyword scheme=user>Huntin; Shootin; Fishin</keyword>
<keyword scheme=LCSH>equestrianism; blood sports;</keyword>
I leave it to Jon to translate this into dc meta tags...
