Graham has very kindly mentioned not only the day-long programme he is
involved with, but also the electronic atlas and database of saints' cults
he is working on. No need to apologize for bringing this to our attention,
Graham! On the contrary, the more posts of this nature, the better!
Please, all of you (us), don't feel shy about mentioning or discussing
scholarly activities in which you are directly involved; such news will be
received by the rest of us with gratitude.
George
PS: This appeal, of course, is not limited to British events. Mark
Williams, for example, told us about the lecture by Andre' Basson at
Calvin College (and how to find out more by consulting a particular Web
address); we also have heard about a wonderful conference, almost upon
us, in Boston (featuring several medieval-religionists, and a certain U.
Eco; never heard of that guy :-) ). -- G
