dear Kurt
there is obviously a big crossover with historiography of heresy. Try
volume 14 of Cahiers de Fanjeaux (Toulouse: Privat, 1979?) which is
devoted to historiography of Catharism, but also has stuff on
Inquisition. Also see recent historiography of heresy collection edited
by Grado Merlo (i've forgotten the title, which is in Italian, but it's
something fairly obvious like Storiographia della eresie... and published
1995 or 1996)
There is an interesting introduction to the reissue of Lea's History of
the Inquisition (the shortened version) written by Walter Ullmann.
Otherwise ... um, i'm as interested to find out as you are!
cheers
