dear thomas
in P.Biller & A.Hudson *Heresy and Literacy 1000 - 1500* p.7 there is
another picture of St.Dominic at the Cathar book barbecue; this one
comes from relief work on the tomb of St Dominic, Church of st.dominic,
Bologna, and is the work of Nicola Pisano [c.1264-1267]. [nb i'm just
reporting what it says in the book!]
of interest ..?
cheers
