Our copy of the Heidelberg ed. of Nicholas of Cusa's early sermons is
out, so I am left asking for help. My translation of Sermon 12, which I
am reformating for use at a conference this fall, includes a quotation
which I have rendered as:
He destroyed our death by dying and restored our life by rising.
I thought it was from the Bible, but no concordance (for English
translations, since I do not have the Latin under hand) has led me to it.
Have the concordances failed me, or am I looking in the wrong place. It
sounds very familiar.
