Claire Hilton has just written us a note, and -- please don't be
embarrassed, Claire! -- I thought I'd take the opportunity to send a
reminder to everyone.
Claire's message was:
> Please unsubscribe [log in to unmask]
This was the message that the c. 350 of us received. I'm happy to oblige
any request of this nature, but normally I shouldn't have to do so at all.
If you wish to leave the list, just send the message:
leave medieval-religion
to
[log in to unmask]
If you wish to remain a member, but not receive mail for a period of time
when you'll be getting a life and not be at your terminals, send the
message:
suspend mail medieval-religion
to
[log in to unmask]
When it's time to return to 'the real world', and re-enter the fast lane we
call medieval-religion, then in order to end your 'suspension' just send
the message:
resume mail medieval-religion
to
[log in to unmask]
If you wish to remove your name from the list and cease to receive the
list's messages, send the message:
leave medieval-religion
to
[log in to unmask]
(Please note that you mustn't include your name or e-mail address in any
of these messages I listed above.)
And finally, when you come to realize there's no electronic salvation
extra listam nostram, just utter the magical incantation:
join medieval-religion firstname lastname
in a typing sort of way, and transmit this incantation to:
[log in to unmask]
and you won't be saved. But we'll be happy you've joined us, and hope you
will be too.
Come back soon, Claire! I'll sign you off; you don't have to bother (this
time!).
All the best to all,
George
