Thanks for the biblio. I know about and have used de Montclos and
Macdonald. Unfortunately, both were done long before Somerville's
discovery of an eucharistic formula from the council of Poitiers (1075)
that bridges the gap btwn the 1059 and 1079 formulae at Rome.
Though, S. published his findings in 1972, I know of noone who has used
them.
