there is an entire volume of Cahiers de Fanjeaux dedicated to Bernard Gui:
*Bernard Gui et son monde* Cahiers de Fanjeaux vol.16 (Toulouse: Privat,
1981) including such delights as "La methode historique du Bernard Gui,
d'apres la chronique des rois des France" and "La diffusion de l'oeuvre
de Bernard Gui"
There is also a very lengthy piece by Leopold Delisle entitled "notice
sur les manuscrits de Bernard Gui" in *Notices et extraits des Manuscrits
de la Bibliotheque nationale et autres bibliotheques* vol.27 (Paris 1879)
pp.169-455. I seem to remember that this was quite useful - you can get
it on interlibrary loan, but sadly they don't xerox it for you!
