Dear colleagues,
We would like to draw your attention to the following session “T80 Unveiling earthquake mechanics, from field to laboratory based approach” for the SGI-SIMP joint meeting (Bari, 3-5 September 2024). The session will focus on seismic faulting, from shallow to deep earthquakes, at different scales and through a multidisciplinary approach including field geology, microstructural studies, rock deformation experiments, numerical models and seismological observations.
We welcome novel observations or innovative approaches to the study of earthquake mechanics. Early career scientists are encouraged to contribute! We are happy to announce that our invited speaker will be Giacomo Pozzi (INGV).
Extended submission deadline: 6 May 2024 at 19:00
