Our virtual Symposium, Music and the Ideas of the Popular: Reconsidering British Music and Musical Practices, considers a range of topics and time periods from Georgian-era stage and parlor music to The Kinks' 1969 concept album Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire).
