Hello all,
I am delighted to announce that we are now accepting proposals on the theme
'beyond human' for the upcoming 38th issue of Edinburgh Architecture
Research Journal [EAR]. We welcome contributions both from within and
beyond the field of architecture that tackle the place of 'human' in the
designed world until 30 April 2023. We welcome cross-disciplinary
approaches and contributions both from within the field of architecture and
beyond. Please find attached the details of the call and instructions on
how to submit your abstract. You may check http://journals.ed.ac.uk/ear for
details, updates and to view articles from our latest issue (Dec, 2022). Please
pass onto colleagues who you think might be interested in contributing.
*About EAR:** Edinburgh Architecture Research Journal [EAR] is a
non-profit, peer-reviewed academic journal, published annually by the
research students of the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture
at University of Edinburgh since 1978. For over fourty years it has been an
expressive vehicle of the diverse interests and contributions towards
research both within and beyond this School. EAR began as an in-house
collection of working papers and developed over the years into a strong
peer-reviewed architectural publication of wide recognition within the
international academic community. It is currently listed in the Avery Index
to Architectural Periodicals and Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory. The
journal has undergone a complete rebrand from print to online, from closed
to open issues, from only publishing traditionally formatted papers to
incorporating more discursive modes of enquiry and presentation.*
