This is a call for applications for ten Inclusiveness Target Country (ITC) Conference Grants in the framework of the COST Action “A new ecosystem for Early Music (EarlyMuse)” (https://www.cost.eu/actions/CA21161/ <https://www.cost.eu/actions/CA21161/>).
Timeline
The application deadline is 21 April 2023. This call relates to conferences that will occur before 31 August 2023. Applicants will be notified by e-mail about the decision by 30 April 2023.
Eligibility
ITC Conference Grants are open to young researchers (under age 40) from COST Inclusiveness Target Countries (see <https://www.cost.eu/about/strategy/excellence-and-inclusiveness/>https://www.cost.eu/about/strategy/excellence-and-inclusiveness/ <https://www.cost.eu/about/strategy/excellence-and-inclusiveness/>) who have been invited to present work relevant to the goals of EarlyMuse. Applicants must be engaged in an official research program as a PhD student or postdoctoral fellow at an institution or legal entity which has within its remit a clear association with research in the sense of the EarlyMuse Memorandum of Understanding – <https://e-services.cost.eu/files/domain_files/CA/Action_CA21161/mou/CA21161-e.pdf> https://e-services.cost.eu/files/domain_files/CA/Action_CA21161/mou/CA21161-e.pdf <https://e-services.cost.eu/files/domain_files/CA/Action_CA21161/mou/CA21161-e.pdf>.
The call is restricted to conferences occurring within Europe. Any relevant European conference is acceptable, including MedRen 2023 in Munich, Biennial Baroque 2023 in Geneva, or the many specialist conferences on offer that relate to the work of EarlyMuse.
In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants have to be accepted as a presenter at the intended conference and be member of one of the EarlyMuse Working Groups:

3) Publications
4) Performances
5) Policies

Financial support
ITC Conference Grants are fixed financial contributions of € 1.000 to the overall travel, accommodation, and meal expenses as well as conference participation fees incurred by the Grantee.
The grant is paid after completion of the conference. However, applicants may request a pre-payment of 50% of the total grant sum.

· Log in to your e-COST account and fill in the required online forms.
· Complete the application, adding the documents detailed below. Submit the grant application online.

· Copy of the abstract of the accepted presentation
· Acceptance (or invitation) letter from the conference organisers (note: a .pdf of the email stating your acceptance is acceptable)
Reporting requirements
The successful applicant is required to submit a report no later than 30 days after the end date of the conference (see template here: https://www.cost.eu/ITCConference_Report <https://www.cost.eu/ITCConference_Report>). The report will be published on the EarlyMuse website.
