The following position (full-time 100%) is available at the Department of Musicology of the Faculty of Humanities at Heidelberg University from 1 October 2023:
Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in (f/m/d).
The position is assigned to the Chair of Musicology (Prof. Dr. Christiane Wiesenfeldt) and offers the possibility of habilitation in musicology.
Your tasks:
Scientific research
Two seminars per semester (4 SWS), assistance with exams
Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks, including the development of projects and the acquisition of third-party funding.
Your profile:
Excellent doctorate in musicology
Organisational experience in the academic field
Ability to work in a team, organisational talent, language skills (German, English and basic knowledge of another foreign language)

Remuneration is based on E 13 TV-L (https://www.personalrat.uni-heidelberg.de/md/organe/personalrat/tv-l_entgelttabelle_2023.pdf). The position is limited to three years, an extension for another three years is planned.
If the legal requirements are met, an appointment as a temporary civil servant (Akademischer Rat/Raetin) is possible. The temporary civil service is limited to three years and can be extended for a further three years.
