Thanks for the link to your book. It looks useful for doing semiotics and communication. You write, "In our view semiotics is not a science. It is a mode of action in the world. As we have aimed to demonstrate, human communication cannot be studied from an outsider’s position of neutrality. Communication is a part of the universe of semiotic phenomena that you live in and work with" (Sless & Shrensky, 2023, p. 171). I've neither studied linguistics, cognitive science, nor semiotics, but I believe that Chomsky's project differs from yours in that his subject is properly a faculty of mind and his method is scientific.
