Dear design researchers,
We are glad to share two special issues guest-edited for Diseña Journal on
Design, Oppression, and Liberation. There you find open-access bilingual
articles (English/Spanish) on feminist, decolonial, abolitionist,
inclusive, militant, and critical approaches to design research.
Scopus recently indexed Diseña Journal. This journal is a great example of
how design journals in the Global South can achieve international
excellence by operating a critical agenda. Its editorial design has a charm
of its own. The next special issue is about Repairing Design: Damage, Care,
and Fragility. The call for papers closes on March 6, 2023.
