Derek's posting on AI Generative models needs to be read by everyone. Get
it at:
Tiny.cc/GeMs
This is an important article for everyone, especially the design community.
(It needs to be published somewhere with a larger reach than PhD list.) It
needs more examples of a variety of uses in the multiple design
sub-disciplines: e.g., industrial, graphics, interaction, ...
What Derek also says is that much of his posting -- text and illustrations
-- were created by the AI system. That should frighten you. On the other
hand, as Derek points out, it could also be a very important collaborative
tool for enhancing your work. This is why it needs to be discussed more.
