We welcome proposals from postgraduate and early career researchers for 15-minute individual papers (with 5 minutes for discussion) relating to some aspect of Polish music, including but not limited to the following:
· Music from Poland
· Music-making practices in Poland by Polish or non-Polish artists
· Music-making practices by Polish artists abroad
· Musical cultures originating in or relating to Poland
· Music and sound in Poland
Please send proposal abstracts (max. 200 words) to [log in to unmask] by Monday 3rd October 2022. Speakers will be notified by Monday 10th October 2022.
Depending on the number and variety of proposals received, we hope to include breakout sessions for more thematically focused discussions. We will also be taking initial steps in setting up informal mentoring partnerships between PG / EC researchers and more established scholars of Polish music.
With best wishes,
