The 10th biannual meeting of the Finnish Society for the Study of English - FINSSE-10
- will be hosted in person at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, August 18-19,
2022. Delegates are welcome from abroad. Registration fees are low (free for those
between jobs or unable to claim expenses), and the welcome is warm!
Our plenaries:
Kathryn Remlinger, Professor of English, Grand Valley State University, USA
Elizabeth Peterson, University Lecturer (Docent), University of Helsinki
Maarit Koponen, Professor of Translation Studies, University of Eastern Finland
Our deadline is extended to 22 April, and we have also broadened the thematic scope
of submissions: we now welcome submissions in any area of English studies and related
fields. Pedagogically focused submissions are also welcome, for example discussing
innovative methods in one's own teaching. We welcome work at any stage of
development, and we encourage postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers. We still
hope to highlight our original themes within accepted submissions, but we will now
equally consider all relevant abstracts as above. For more details, and to submti
