Augmented reality is advancing and being explored around the world,
bringing us closer to expectations about the future, where experience
journeys will intrinsically integrate digital and physical spaces on daily
basis.
We invite you to be part of this Research Topic on "Advances in Augmented
Reality for Culture and Entertainment" to share your research and the state
of the art in augmented entertainment and cultural experiences and how they
are shaping the future. This publication intends to bring diverse
perspectives and areas of knowledge together to set a new foundation for
advancements in interactive entertainment, to make experiences, create new
understanding, amplify services, and living, better for people and society.
Researchers and experts from academia, government, and industry are invited
to share their knowledge and experience in this emerging field by
submitting research papers for this article collection.
