Dear Britta,
A useful method when dealing with different types of data is Grounded
Theory (GT). I suggest you try to search for design theses that used
Grounded Theory. The method is incredibly powerful in generating insights
from different data and it allows for versatility in how to communicate
them without losing analytical rigour.
I have a fair amount of design theses in digital format and could have a
look later, but I'm overwhelmed with work at the moment. If you can't find
anything online just send me an email reminding and I'll give you a hand.
I would also recommend the papers of Judith Holton and Barney Glaser that
explain the GT method in detail.
Apologies for the rushed response.
Good luck,
--
