Hi Everyone!
Listening at the fantastic lecture, I couldn’t stop thinking about a situation we have at the University I work.
My University was the first institution to offer a professional degree in Graphic Design almost 55 years ago in Bogotá. Since then, some professional programs have been created: Industrial design, fashion design, architecture and the last one where I work: interactive design.
We belong to the same faculty and we share some classes but the programs are independent.
I would like to ask all of you: Do you think we should keep the programs independent or, according to the present we are living, should we just have a single design program with specializations at the end?
