Thanks

For reporting something about of the history and use of the word “actant” and pointing out the need for precise definitions.
This is an example of a word embedded in an animistic theory of entities in the world that filled a gap in common language use, entered many conversations that have it diverse meanings, to which we should not refer.
Careful epistemological analysis of its use is needed but also the social consequences of transferring the responsibilities of designers to what they propose - a devious move to avoid being held accountable for their designs.
