I confess to struggling with the perspective you propose of a design
without designers.
Many people have engaged in debate with you on this, most seem to disagree.
However, that does necessarily mean you’re wrong.
The thread reached the inevitable semantic dead-end; to be honest, I
sympathise with David Sless in that the discussion became muddled and
unclear.
I think your arguments would gain weight if you could provide concrete
examples that clearly illustrate what you’re trying to explain. In other
words, three or four actual examples of designing that occurs along the
lines you’ve been describing.
