Decolonising the Musical University
Registration (free!) is still open for our 2020 Virtual Event, which takes place on 23-24 July.
Our online event will have four main components: panel discussions; delegate blog posts; groupwork; virtual common room.
Panel discussions (live-streamed, and recorded for later access)
Panel 1: Listen and learn: The needs of Black, Brown and Indigenous POC in music education
Panel 2: Decolonising pedagogies: dismantling and disrupting music education practices
Panel 3: Reparation and reconciliation: addressing colonial legacies through action
Delegate blog posts
Material submitted for discussion and comment by some of our delegates will be posted here; the chat function will be enabled to allow for exchange and discussion online.
Groupwork: Decolonising the Musical University Experience
An online space where delegates can share experience, ideas and best practice around the following themes:

Access to all these spaces is open to registered delegates only. The webpages, including access to the panel recordings, blog posts and groupwork, will remain open until the end of July.
