Hi all,
Today we made the ASSOCC website public: simassocc.org
We have created a NetLogo based simulation that can be used to generate
many scenarios to test the effects of policies on the spread of the
virus and the socio-economic effects.
The model is still very basic, but we will extend it in many ways
creating separate branches of the simulation concentrating on e.g.
economic effects, cultural differences, exit strategies, etc.
The website contains descriptions of a number of scenarios and results
(sometimes complete scenarios are not visible when we are updating
results again). We are working on packaging the software (including a
nice GUI) in a way that people can download the software per scenario
and can play with all kinds of parameters. Hopefully this is available
by the end of this week.
The actual NetLogo source code is also available through a Github link.
Note that the code will be updated frequently and new branches will be
created in the next weeks based on the modelling requests we are getting
from organizations and governments.
Best regards,
Frank.
